I was very leery of buying this product after reading some of the other reviews. I went ahead with it anyway because of the price. My girlfriend and I got through about ten boxes in half a day with absolutely no problems. Make sure to let the wood acclimate for a few days to wherever it will be installed and BUY THE INSTALLATION KIT they have at the Home Depot. With the kit (includes a tapping block, pull bar and spacers) and some common sense you should have no problems. Other people have complained about broken pieces. We bought the flooring in store and picked intact-looking boxes. We haven’t had a single broken piece out of the box. There were only about 5 pieces that broke (well…chipped edges actually) because of my carelessness while tapping them into place. I can’t speak to the durability of the floor because it was just installed, but the installation is a BREEZE! Be careful and methodical, use the right tools, follow the instructions, and you’ll do great!

Contrary to the last two reviews, I don’t have much bad to say about this flooring. The first layer was a HUGE pain, and we struggled to get it to link together… until we actually read the instructions and saw that we needed an installation kit.
Once we got that, it was smooth sailing. We’ve had the floor down a month with 2 50-75lb dogs and there’s not a scratch on it. It also happens to look very nice. I recommend you buy it in the store so that ensure the boxes you get are undamaged.
