Last week I installed an engineered wood in my own home. I put the Thomasville Engineered Hardwood. I love this stuff, the warranty is good, and it has a great look.

Often readers of this flooring site ask me what I put, so here you go. I love this Thomasville Engineered hardwood. I picked the walnut because the dark color has amazing eye-catching beauty.

Looking for discontinued Thomasville flooring? Check the links above and on the side for discontinued laminate flooring.

Update 2020 –

I still love this flooring. It is now over 13 years old and this Thomasville flooring is going strong. It has a bit more added character but has been money well spent. What a great investment!

  • I need two boxes of Thomasville Flooring, horizontal cut, 22.79 sq ft/carton, size 1/2 inch thick by 5 inch width by varied lengths of 48 inch, 36 inch, 24 inch, and 12 inch. The isbn number is 4 897016 690020. Can anyone steer me toward two boxes? I got no help from Home Depot and Thomasville. Sapale mahagony or brazilian cherry.

    Thanks for your help,

    Ken Brown

  • The benefits of using engineered wood floors include more resistance to higher moisture levels than solid wood flooring, which adds to their appeal to use in damp basements or in regions of the country that have higher relative humidity levels.
